Good Morning America embarked on an exciting quest to discover the finest breakfast offerings across the United States. What initially began as a friendly competition evolved into a Breakfast Smackdown in the vibrant city of Houston Texas.

My responsibilities for this project were to create a media kit for the breakfast klub, and conduct marketing planning upon the live segment of the competition date.

This culinary showdown showcased a spirited battle of flavors, with a spotlight on the delectable chicken and waffle dishes presented by two noteworthy contenders: well-known restaurant the breakfast klub and the charming Dandelion Cafe. The clash of culinary titans not only celebrated the diverse breakfast scene in Houston but also highlighted the creativity and passion of these establishments in crafting unforgettable morning delights.

In 2020, PepsiCo demonstrated its commitment to uplifting underrepresented communities through a substantial multi-million dollar pledge. The result was the inception of the Pepsi Dig In initiative, a campaign designed to champion Black-owned restaurants and the communities that rally behind them. With a focus on providing valuable resources, PepsiCo aimed to amplify access and awareness for Black chefs and restaurateurs.

As part of this initiative, The Breakfast Klub, renowned for its signature meal of gravy and Biskits, forged a strategic partnership with Pepsi Dig In Day on August 19, 2023. The collaboration involved offering their iconic dish to guests on a complimentary basis. The brand partnership not only showcased

the breakfast klub's commitment to community engagement but also underscored the shared values of both entities in fostering inclusivity and supporting Black-owned businesses. Responsibilities within this brand partnership included curating a memorable dining experience, promoting awareness of the initiative, and contributing to the overarching goal of empowering underrepresented communities.

The Best of the Best awards hold a distinguished status in the Houston area, representing a prestigious accolade. Achieving this recognition can significantly enhance the visibility, customer attraction, and reputation of businesses and organizations.
